I can't use it anyway.
You know how there's that one faucet in your house that drips. You let it go and keep thinking...hmmm, we should fix that. You watch the commercial on tv that adds up all the drops of money that it costs on your water bill and think...hmmm, we should fix that. Your husband gets a job in a different town and you work insanely hard to get the house up to par and think...hmmm, we should fix that leaky faucet.
Yea...so today was the lucky day to fix that stupid leak.
It went from bad, to bad"der", to worse...to we give up! The faucet was so corroded on the pipe that the entire pipe and faucet came off together. nice. i know. We've had the water main off all day. I drove the kids around town to use the toilet. :)
Finally we had a plumber come over tonight and he put a cap on that waterline. He will be back tomorrow to fix the entire thing...please pray that it goes better than today's effort. It is now a huge job of replacing pipe in the wall.
So yea...keep your Calgon...just send me to a spa?!?!

We have a terribly leaky pipe in our laundry room that my husband has been avoiding (ignoring?).
I'm not going to let him read this post........it might never get fixed, especially when you put the word "plumber" in there!
I've only moved once (as a sr. in high school--and that was with my family when my dad sold his cows and we moved to a house 6 miles away), so I have NO idea what you are going through. It does make my stomach drop when I look around here at all our stuff and think about packing it all up if we ever did move. Yikes!
Hoping things settle down soon...
Good times, good times.
We just bought a new kitchen faucet yesterday to replace our leaky faucet. Should be fun...
:)
Oh my. It just goes from bad to worse, doesn't it!!!
Hope your water's back today...
