It doesn't make any sense, yet it makes perfect sense...ever felt that way!?!? Our golden retriever would love a buddy, but our house is on the market. It doesn't make perfect sense to add a dog to your family while you are trying to sell your house, I know. But then again, it could take forever for our house to sell.
Last night our friends brought their beautiful Basset Hound, Mocha, over for a visit. We fell in love and she stayed the night! I think we’ll keep her forever. Moses, our Golden Retriever, needs a buddy anyway! (actually they needed to find a new home for her because of their upcoming move…so we didn’t just steal her.) :)
Here she is in all her soulful glory! I introduce you to the newest member of the fam…Mocha!

i did keep thinking of how much ree loves her charlie. i can now see why! but no border collies are in the plans for me. :)
How did you get her to pose for such a great picture? You really are a good photographer! :) This makes me miss her more... and the house was super quite last night. If she is blessed to be with such a great family though then it is all worth it. :)

Sarah...we are taking really, really good care of her! She is gettin' all the lovin' in the world! Today she was bathed, brushed, walked, cuddled and loved on by all the girls. :) They ADORE her! And she and Moses played and played. I think she'll sleep well tonight.
That is the perfect name for YOUR dog :)
I love dogs... good decision on adding a member to the family in the midst of busy-ness. If we all waited for calm to make a move, we'd never do anything!

We were looking at the picture and thought that she looked exceptionally well groomed. Assuming that she must have had a bath since the rainy night before. :)I'm glad that the girls love her so much... we always did know that she was great with kids!

Laura- be honest-- would you have caved so easily if her name was something like "Ruff" or "Spot"? How much impact did the fact that her name reminded you of coffee have?? :)

Ah, shucks....that makes me sad for the people who had to say good-bye to Mocha, but happy to know that he'll be so loved and well-cared for by yours. What can I say...I'm a sucker for doggies...
