Simple Green spray or Shout spray. We use Shout quite a bit. That and they have shirts at Walmart type places that are stain resistant. I also don't spend to much on her everyday clothes because I know they will be ruined.
I am not a HUGE fan of using this, BUT it does work for the stains that my Drew gets on his clothes all the time...Tide with Color Safe Bleach. I usually use a little and pour it directly on the stains. Sometimes I rinse them before or wash them twice because of the chemicals. But it has taken out pretty much everything...except dry erase markers...maybe they were permanent? I also use shout for just regular everyday stains and wash with dreft. So shout works pretty well!
If its a fruit based stain, sometimes if you pour a bunch of boiling water through it,(obviously, you're holding the garment over the sink!)it will disappear.
My mom taught me that. She probably learned it from her mom, Mabel.
Stanley Cleaner Carpet Cleaner works awesome! My mother-in-law bought me a bottle for christmas! I use it on my girls clothes all the time! It has even got stains out that have been washed and dried!
You are one very precious little girl! Who is looking at your stains anyway!
Do you have soft water? If so, Tide, Chlorox 2 and some shout usually does the trick.
Oxyclean is the VERY BEST. I am a stain fanatic and I soak anything and everything in oxyclean overnight. Also the sun is a good bleacher for spaghetti type sauces too! Just put one scoop of Oxyclean in an ice cream bucket and soak, sometimes I soak 2 days depending on the stain. It truly works. Hope this helps you out!
With Caibry spitting up so much...I am a faithful user of Shout. On everything. All of our clothes, actually. It works wonders & almost every single spot comes clean. If something gets a pretty nasty spot I will spray it, rub it in & then wash immediately. Voila.
Of course if it's tomatoe based or something along those lines then the spot is lightened, but not completely removed. Works wonders on everything else though. :)
I use HE Tide to wash AND pretreat! If a stain is still visible after the wash...I DO NOT put it in the dryer...
I say stains give the clothes character. Seriously though, if you can't get the stain out........BUY NEW CLOTHES!
If it's a white shirt, I would try bleach.
I have also heard carpet cleaner will work. You may want to do a spot check on a inconspicuous area first.
Did anyone watch Celebrity Circus? Discuss
I am with anonymous! She's too cute to worry about her stained clothes!!
Laura, I have to throw in my two cents here. I am absolutely amazed at what the sunshine will "bleach" out of clothing. I hang dry a lot of clothes, we live at 6000 ft and the sun is pretty intense sometimes. After I run it through a normal wash cycle I hang it to dry in direct sunlight. From baby poop on onesies to spaghetti sauce on Easter dresses, the sunshine has been my best "stain getter-outter".
Amway has the best stain remover. no need to soak or any other steps just apply and let sit for a minute and then throw in the wash. The problem is you have to contact an Amway representive always scary! But it works like nothing else.
Has no one here just tried to lick it out ... you know with your tongue? I find that cotton sometimes adds a unique flavor to say grape juice stains.
All I know is I come home from work. The new little guy touches my work shirts with his grubby hands and the next thing you know I am licking my shirts
Vicious Cycle.
Shout with HOT water....works on everything!!! Except blood...then get the stain wet with cold water first...add the shout and then wash in hot. I buy it at Sam's...industrial size with this really cool nozzle...
Did you want me to start talking about how white my mother-in-law used to get her cloth diapers or are you not talking about Hudson's diapers and our environment on this post?
Auntie K...from up north
If my kids have clothes that really dirthy, I wash my kids clothes twice without drying them in between.
