Ok so I'm sooooo excited about this!!!!! My sister and her husband are in the process of adoption. We are beyond happy for them, and can't wait to meet our new little niece or nephew that the Lord has chosen to join our family. (personally I think it would be really fun for Hudson to have a little boy cousin his age...but that's just me!)
My other sister and I have been brainstorming different fundraising ideas...none of them were seeming to be come together. This morning during my quiet time the Lord gave me this idea...and I knew I had to run with it! :) So here is my idea...aka God's idea! I will be selling custom Christmas card templates for them. On my Laura Lu Photography site I have a variety of templates you can choose from for $25 each. You will send me the picture/pictures you would like to use along with the name of the template you have chosen. I will create the card using your pictures and names. I will email the file to you and you can have them printed at your choice of printers. 100% of the proceeds will go to bring home their baby, so if you would like to donate more than $25 it will go directly to them! I am just so excited to see how the Lord uses this to bless them.
Please pray for Greg and Mari Lynn as they wait in anticipation for the Lord to reveal their child to them!

Okay I am so excited about this post!! I am excited for your sister and her family!!! You are a great sista to do this for them. I will have to check this out. :)
So happy to see this. I was going to try and create our own this year but would much rather have you do it and help a family in the process. We're taking our pictures next week (I hope).
What a cool God thing!!! We are all up for this one. I'll be in touch. Laura Lu, you are the best!!!!!!!!!!
We LOVE adoption! And what a GREAT way to support your sister with the talents and gifts God gave you. Tell your sister God will provide her every need, HE IS EVERYTHING we need when we need it.
The cards are simply gorgeous! Good job!!!
I love this idea- and the opportunity to bless the FREMONT family in this way is wonderful.... I have to be honest- I giggled a little at their last name! :)

I am so excited for your sister and her hubby! What an exciting adventure the Lord is leading them on! Count us in on the Christmas Cards. Now we just need a photographer who will travel out here for free room and board!?! I'm still working on getting a family picture...as you can tell!
Who knows, if you come, maybe my hubby will splurge and buy a new air mattress:)
Laura and everyone,
It is such a joy to hear of all that God is doing through his people to bring our next child home. About two weeks ago we ran up against the limit of what we can do in this process. What an amazing opportunity to see the Glory of God revealed. It satisfies the deepest longings of our hearts to see his Glory.
I LOVE adoption stories!!

I travel in and out of Muslim countries and don't want our identity posted on the net -- thus, the witness protection program. ;)
I would love to list this fundraiser at this site:
