Happy Post...

Well, I have happy news for you! Our finger prints came back!!!! We now have proof that we are not criminals! We are busy compiling all of the papers now to be sent to the Secretary of State to be authenticated. After that we will need to have the entire dossier translated into French. Please pray for us regarding a translator. The lady we were planning on using is going on vacation for 2 1/2 weeks, so we don't know who to use. We don't want to continue to have to hold up our dossier any longer than necessary. Pray that the Lord will show us clearly who we are to use. Courtney says that we are in the homestretch now, but we still feel like we have a lot to do before we are done. She is always so encouraging though. Here are our families together, well we are missing the rest of our eleven children, but it gives you a glimpse. The boy (Emerson) in the front is the man's son who is taking our picture. Then it is Brian, Courtney, Annika,Vasti, Esaie, me, Matt, and Juvenson. This was right before we were saying good-bye to our kids, so we were all crying! It is was so nice to know we weren't alone.

Brian cracked us up the whole time we were there. He was the "potty patrol"...his girls had to go potty so many times, because of all of the water they were drinking. They gave Vasti a big water bottle and she drank it over and over again. Safe drinking water can be quite expensive for the orphanage so she was enjoying the freedom to just help herself as she pleased. This also meant that she was up all night needing to go potty. Their girls are the most beautiful little girls. It was so fun to watch them and think of how much our girls would love to be playing with them. Someday we will all go to Disney World together! :) We are so grateful to have found such wonderful friends to help us in this journey. They are a huge blessing to both Matt and me!
