Engagement Photos

I was able to do something amazing yesterday...I got to do an engagement photo shoot. (I can't believe I did it.) This was so special because in the beginning of their budding love...I was a secret keeper for Cassie. I was an outside person with whom she could tell me about her evolving feelings for Drew. It was wonderful to watch them fall in love with each other. They are an adorable couple! Capturing their tender love and affection for each other was a real gift! There are a couple more that are super tender, I won't share those just yet. The couple would like some of them to remain "their own", so since I am doing this as a gift for them I have chosen not to share them.
Before we went, I was so stinkin' nervous! I just kept thinking of how I'm not experienced to do this...I'm not qualified...I don't know what I am doing...blah, blah, blah. I knew that I wanted to try it though. And remember how I've come to the realization that if I don't make myself try...I won't ever learn. I learned a lot yesterday. It built my confidence up. I was so happy to do this for them, because they are sweet friends. On the way there, I prayed that the Lord would use the time to glorify Himself.
Thank you, Drew and Cassie, for letting me into your lives to seize these memories forever. I thank God for you and for your love for each other. May your lives together be a sweet testimony of love with a foundation on Christ alone.

The photos are GREAT! You really captured some fun moments. Way to go you photographer you! And by the way when I opened the blog I thought hey I know that girl. I met her at bridal shower once and she played with my Lydia. Anyway, great job, you should be proud.
