Silly Girl!!!

By now you know that I will at any moment pull over and start snapping some shots, which is exactly what I did yesterday. I've realized that this is the way I will get my shots. If I wait for everything to be perfect, it's not going to happen. I am realizing that I have to make myself do it, rather than just thinking about it. I had an idea for a shot with one of my other girls, so we climbed out of the car. In keeping things fair, I snapped these of my other daughter. She cracked me up! I'll post more of them in the coming days.

Adoption Update--We are still waiting to hear when our court date in FL will be. It is suppose to be sometime in August, and will be held in the middle of the week. We are scheduling everything tentatively for the month. Any plans that we make with people, we explain what we will be making a quick trip to FL at some point in August. It will be so great to get this done!

I was asked to join the board of our adoption agency. I am so incredibly passionate about adoption, so to be used by God in this capacity is a real blessing. We had our first meeting last Tuesday. It is such an encouraging time to be with a group of people who's hearts beat for adoption. It is a great group of people and I know I will enjoy getting to know them better.

Off to go swimming with my sister and her kiddos!

Those are adorable and would make an awesome collage on your wall! Obviously I was able to view your site, so it was bloggers "glitch" - thankfully!! I don't handle technical difficutlties with much patience. I read your profile and wanted to let you know Elizabeth George spoke at my old church for our women's conference last summer - she was really awesome! I love Streams in the Desert as well. I'm going to have to check out a few more of your other books you have listed!

Ok, tell me you aren't shooting all photos on manual. Make me feel better. Tell me you shoot some on auto. LOL Also, do you ever use a flash?? Your photos are really looking great!

I'd love to know what agency you are now with! Isn't adoption amazing? Such an honor to witness God's miracles & how He builds families.
