Have you ever wondered what God looks like? Well, according to our 3 yodd...He looks like daddy. Yesterday she said, "God looks like Daddy...God is Daddy." Her profound statement was followed by, "So then who is the Mommy?"
Ahh...the eyes of a 3 year old!

Good answer. I often picture him in a long white robe with a long white beard holding a wooden cane. I don't know why. Since he is God he probably looks more like Mel Gibson or something. :)

I am glad you understood her verse...she says it, " A soft answer turns away a raft."
We did talk about wrath meaning "fits", but she stuck with a raft. It cracks us up everytime she says it. :)
Too cute. My Laura said to me,
"Does God wear clothes?"
I replied, "Well Laura if God is a spirit and has no body like we do, then would He have clothes?
She walked off and I figured I had answered her question. She gazed out the window for awhile, then looked at me with a satified look on her face and said,
"I am right God is naked."

Yep. Our 3 year old comes up with the craziest things. Keep life interesting, eh?
How about this one, wise Mommy.... my Simon said last night, "Mommy- did God take Miss Kelli's babies to Heaven with him?" I said, "Yes, honey he did" thinking "that will make him feel better".... he was quiet for a minute and then I heard him pray, "Dear God, Please give Miss Kelli & Mr. Jason back their babies. Thank you! Amen!" and then said, "mommy- I prayed for it. God will give them back." through my tears- I tried explaining that won't happen and then he said, "Dear Jesus, Please tell God to give those babies back. Amen!"

I just love that they are pondering it! I love that the Almighty is on their little minds & hearts enough to wonder WHAT He is wearing, WHO He is and that He answers prayers!
That's so funny because just the other day Isaac asked "So where is heaven and how did Jesus get up there anyway?"
