I had a gal ask me how the girls are doing with us adopting and having to wait for the boys. The other day our daughter who is having a birthday in September told me that all she wants for her birthday is for her brothers to come home. She said that she doesn't need any presents...she just wants them to come home! That right there shows just how much the girls love the boys. They love them just like we do. The boys are already such a part of our family. Whenever we are doing something (camping, fireworks, swimming, riding bike) someone will usually bring up "I wonder what the boys will think of doing this."
We find that our daughters are learning so much about the Lord through this journey as well. Their faith boosts our faith! They are seeing God in all of the things that are happening along the way. So it isn't just Matt and I that are on this journey...the girls are right here with us! We are learning so much about God's faithfulness and His goodness. Like last week, Court called me to tell me some super exciting news. She went to her mailbox and opened the mail. In an envelope was a check for $8,000! Just the day before, Courtney and I had both been praying for their money to come in. She had been laying her heart before the Lord in desperation. I was so excited for her that I couldn't even think straight. I was so encouraged. The Lord is right here in this journey with us. He has chosen these children for us and He knows just how we are going to afford every last penny associated with adopting them. He is Faithful! I told the girls about what happened and they were elated for Courtney's family. It was so precious!!!! Together we are believing the Lord can do a miracle with bringing our boys home. Their innocent faith keeps me going when I want to allow floods of doubt to come in.
Boys...we sure do love you! You have a house full of girls waiting to smoother you with their love when we bring you home!!!!!

Praise the Lord for your girls! I'm glad their faith boosts yours! I was just reading about how hard it is as we get older to have that childlike faith--we need to ask God for this ability that comes so naturally to children.
I understand how you feel. When find ourselves saying, "When the twins get here..." a lot!
