So close, yet so far away...

(Yes, I am singing!) :)

Well, here is where our paperbaby is! We are still waiting for two authentications to come back. They were sent express mail last week, which means we should have received them back on Friday. We, however, did not...nor did they come on Saturday. Yes, I have spent time praying this morning that they would come today. Hopefully today they will arrive in the mail (which should get here in about an hour). I immediately will scan them in to be translated. Since our translator has been doing a stellar job of getting things back to us same day...we will hopefully get them back tonight. I will compile everything and off to the post office I will go once again. I will hopefully meet up with the friendly postal worker that has been so incredibly helpful to me, and once again buy another express mail envelope and return envelope. I will send our documents (also known as "our life") off to the Haitian Consulate in Chicago. It is reported that their turned around time is about two days...which I pray is true. We will get these back overnight. We will do the final compilation of all of the documents...spend a good amount of time praying over them. I will then load up the kids and travel to a nearby town that has a FedEx office. I will pay the arm and a leg that it costs to FedEx our paperbaby to Haiti, and off it will go. Then all we can do is pray, pray, pray!

There you have a brief synopsis of where we are at and how I am planning to spend my week! :)

Hello, we were so encouraged to find your blog from a link from the Blazeck's. I'm thinking you are friends to other friends of ours as well! .. and have been wanting to connect. I can't find your email of how to reach you, so decided to post here. SO encouraged to see another family stepping forward by faith in the ONE who can provide for every step of this miraculous adoption journey. Blessings to you! ~ The Roberts Family robertsfamily@mlgc.com
